This marinade is ideal for chicken drumsticks, thigh portions and wings, beef and pork spareribs
Ingredients
- 1 cup thick teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup sherry
- 1/4 cup honey or brown sugar
- 3 cm piece ginger, peeled and finely minced
- 1 tsp chilli powder (optional)
- chicken portions, spareribs or steaks for 6-8
Method
- Mix all the ingredients together. Pour over the meat portions in a non-metallic bowl. Cover and refrigerate for four hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
- Grill or BBQ over a moderate heat until the meat or chicken is well cooked and golden.
