Teriyaki Marinade

Teriyaki Marinade

This marinade is ideal for chicken drumsticks, thigh portions and wings, beef and pork spareribs

Ingredients

  • 1 cup thick teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup sherry
  • 1/4 cup honey or brown sugar
  • 3 cm piece ginger, peeled and finely minced
  • 1 tsp chilli powder (optional)
  • chicken portions, spareribs or steaks for 6-8

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients together. Pour over the meat portions in a non-metallic bowl. Cover and refrigerate for four hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
  2. Grill or BBQ over a moderate heat until the meat or chicken is well cooked and golden.
