Teriyaki And Sesame Fish Fillets

Fish is best when simply presented.


  • 4x 150 gram medium-textured fish fillets
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 200 grams snow peas
  • 3 spring onions, sliced
  • 1 red pepper, finely sliced
  • sesame seeds to coat
  • soy, oyster or hoisin sauce to accompany
  • egg noodles for 4


  1. Marinate fish fillets in teriyaki sauce for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a dash of oil in a frying pan and stir fry snow peas, spring onions and red pepper until crisp and tender; set aside.
  3. Remove the fish from the marinade and sprinkle liberally with sesame seeds.
  4. Pan fry the fillets in the hot frying pan for 6-7 minutes, turning once.
  5. Serve the fish with the stir-fried vegetables, drizzled with soy, oyster or hoisin sauce and accompanied by the freshly cooked egg noodes.
