
Ingredients
- 1 pawpaw, peeled and diced
- 1 honeydew melon, peeled and diced
- 1 large bunch grapes
- 1 punnet strawberries
- 2 mangoes or peaches
- 375ml bottle dessert wine
- 300ml bottle cream
- 70 gram packet ground almonds
- few drops almond essence
Method
- Peel and dice pawpaw and melon, discarding seeds. Wash grapes and strawberries. Stone mangoes or peaches and slice.
- Place fruit in a large bowl with the dessert wine and leave to macerate for 2 hours.
- Whip cream until thick. Fold in the ground almonds and enough almond essence to give a nice flavour.
