Rich tomato steaks

Rich tomato steaks


  • 4-6 steaks for the BBQ
  • 2 tablespoons sundried tomato pesto
  • 2 tablespoons red wine
  • 2 tablespoons oil


  1. Trim any excess fat from the meat.
  2. In a large bowl, blend together the tomato pesto, red wine and oil. Add the beef and turn to coat.
  3. Cover, refrigerate and leave to marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Brush excess marinade off the meat then grill or barbecue over a moderately high heat until cooked to your liking. Serve with salad or vegetables.
