Quick Brandy Sauce

  • Makes 3 cups
Quick Brandy Sauce


  • ¼ cup brandy
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp custard powder
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup sugar


  1. In a saucepan heat together the brandy, cream and half the milk. Mix the custard powder, egg, sugar and remaining milk together and stir quickly into the saucepan. Stir over a gently heat until thickened. Do not boil. Cool. Whisk before serving.
