Perfect roasted beetroot

Perfect roasted beetroot


  • 12-16 medium-sized beetroot
  • oil for cooking
  • salt and freshlyg round black pepper


  1. Place the beetroot in a baking dish and toss in oil.
  2. Fan bake at 200ºC (220ºC without fan) for 40-45 minutes until tender.
  3. Scrape off the wrinkled skin.
  4. Toss with plenty of salt and freshly ground black pepper.
