Peppery BBQ lamb salad


  • 500 grams leg of lamb steaks
  • 1 tablespoon crushed gourmet peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • salad ingredients for 4
  • ΒΌ cup of your favourite vinaigrette


  1. Cut the leg of lamb steaks into long 2cm-side strips and place in a bowl with the peppercorns, oil and garlic. Toss to coat.
  2. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Cook the lamb over a moderately high heat for 4-5 minutes on the BBQ or in a frying pan until the lamb is still pink.
  4. Toss the lamb with salad ingredients and vinaigrette and serve immediately.
