Ingredients
- 500 grams apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 100 grams macadamia nuts, roughly chopped
- 125 grams melted butter
- 350 gram packet frozen boysenberries
Method
- Gently simmer the prepared apples with a little water in a covered saucepan for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl mix together the flour, sugar, rolled oats and macadamia nuts. Stir in the melted butter and mix well.
- Carefully combine the hot, partly cooked apple with the frozen boysenberries and transfer to a 5-6 cup capacity ovenproof dish. Spoon crumble mix evenly over the fruit and cook at 180ÂșC for 30-35 minutes or until golden.
