Green Grape Granita

Green Grape Granita


  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup cold water
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 500 green grapes, washed, halved and deseeded


  1. Stir the sugar and water in a saucepan over a low heat until dissolved. Add lemon juice and cool. Add grapes and blend in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Strain through a sieve. Pour into a plastic lidded container and freeze. Remove from the freezer, run a fork over the grape ice and flake. Serve in chilled glasses.
