Fresh cheese, whipped until smooth and dressed with olive oil and za'atar, makes a quick nibble with a lovely fresh tang.
Ingredients
- 250 grams Canaan White Cheese (See Cook's Tip)
- about 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- about 1 tblsp Za’atar (See Cook's Tip)
Method
- Stir the cheese to a smooth paste and place into a serving bowl. Using the back of a spoon, swirl deep gullies in the cheese and pour the olive oil into these and sprinkle with za'atar.
- Serve with Cashew, Oregano and Cumin Biscotti (see recipe on my website).
