Chocolate meringue nests

Add these to a fruit platter for a quick, easy dessert with style.


  • ½ cup cream
  • 125 grams dark chocolate
  • 24 mini pre-made meringue nests


  1. Put the cream and chocolate into a microwave-proof bowl. Heat on high power (100%) for 2 minutes. Stir to make the chocolate a smooth sauce.
  2. Refrigerate until thick.
  3. Fill or pipe the thick chocolate cream (ganache) into the centre of the meringue nests.
  4. Dust with icing sugar, if wished, before serving.

Cooks Tips

Variation - Use the filling to join 2 small meringues together.
