Chocolate Fudge Brownie

Chocolate Fudge Brownie

This recipe was given to me by my friend Shirley.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 4 eggs
  • 225 grams melted butter

Method

  1. Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl and make a well in the centre.
  2. Beat together the melted butter, eggs and vanilla essence and stir into the dry ingredients.
  3. Press into a well greased and paper-lined slice tin.
  4. Bake at 180 degrees celcius for 25 minutes.
  5. Cool before icing with our favourite chocolate icing.
