Chocolate Butter Icing

Chocolate Butter Icing

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons hot milk
  • 100 grams butter, at room temperature
  • 1½ cups icing sugar, sifted
  • few drops vanilla essence

Method

  1. Dissolve the cocoa in the warm milk to make a smooth thick paste and allow to cool.
  2. Beat the butter and icing sugar together until it is pale and fluffy in texture. Beat in the cooled chocolate mixture and vanilla essence. Thin with extra milk, if required.
