Cardamom Creamed Rice

Oh so decadent and oh so delicious, this creamed rice, prepared using rice flour is an ideal milk pud to have regularly with fruits when made with milk. Made with cream for a picnic adds a very special finish to a delicious evening.


  • 2 cups cream
  • 1 tsp cardamom seeds
  • ½-1 cup icing sugar
  • 3 tblsp rice flour


  1. Put all the ingredients into a saucepan and bring gently to the boil, stirring all the time. Once thick, remove from the heat and allow to cool.
