  • ½ onion, peeled and finely diced
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh herbs (parsley or celery leaves)
  • 737 gram jar tomato, bolognaise-style sauce (see Cook's Tip)

  • 100 grams each crumbled feta and grated cheddar

  1. In a bowl mix together the beef mince, onion, herbs and 1 cup of the bolognaise-style sauce.
  2. Cook the pasta shells in boiling salted water for 5 minutes only, drain well.
  3. Mix the remaining Bolognaise-style sauce with the water and or wine and pour over the base of a large lasagne-style baking dish.
  4. Place the half-cooked pasta shells into the dish and fill each with an equal amount of mince mixture. Sprinkle over the cheeses.
  5. Bake at 180ºC for 35-40 minutes until hot and golden and the meat is cooked. Serve with vegetables or a salad.
